Ardmore PA

Ardmore is redefining itself as a welcoming, walkable, and inclusive downtown that offers a vibrant business mix of independent and national retail stores and service businesses. There are specialty food shops and restaurants and many year-round special events.

Located just nine miles from Center City Philadelphia, Ardmore is affectionately known as the “Main Street of the Main Line.” It has a vibrant arts community, excellent public and private schools, charming boutiques and a growing, vibrant restaurant scene. Everyone heads to Suburban Square for easy walkable shopping, coffee, Trader Joe’s or a quick bite to eat. Other fun activities include a skating rink and a busy YMCA. Housing is varied with many more affordable options than other towns along the Main Line.

The SEPTA train station here has a large parking lot and frequent trains to Center City. SEPTA authorities recently announced that a new $34.2 million train station will replace the existing one in Ardmore and could be open by 2022.  SEPTA also intends to eventually build a 500-spot parking garage next to the station.
